The war that one witnesses today is not really
what it appears to be, as there is a new order
implemented according to which America can control
situations, as it is doing in the war against
terrorism. Apparently, America has waged war on
so-called ‘terrorist nations’. Beginning
as a response to September 11th attacks on the
W.T.C., the Bush Administration transformed its
Anti Al-Qaeda and Anti Taliban campaign into one
that targets any nation that does not see eye-to-eye
with them.
It appears that the Bush administration has transformed
its response to September 11 attacks into a doctrine;
a doctrine that makes anti American nations vulnerable
to military attacks, whether they are linked to
Al-Qaeda or not. What started off as a response
to the terrorist attacks on September 11 has turned
out to be a mission against nations that do not
think the same way that America does. Hence, according
to Bush, there is a need to wage war on such nations
before they emerge with evil plans.
The war continues against ‘terrorism’
and oil is at the center of it all, leaving many
wondering whether it has anything to do with it.
This is another feature that has people concerned.
How come a more treacherous state such as North
Korea is left alone and Iraq without any weapons
of mass destruction is sought after? Is this really
a war against terrorist nations? Yet there was
tremendous support for the operations against
Afghanistan and then Iraq.
In addition to this, the world has transformed
drastically, with American influence seen everywhere;
it is apparent that the world is enraptured with
an American influence and thus is willing to plunge
into every situation along with them. This explains
the trends being followed and doctrine against
anti-American nations.
It must be finally observed here that what the
Americans have done here is set into place an
international order. This order runs according
to what they feel they should do with other nations.
Indeed, their influences are strong and imperialistic,
and they cannot be easily overwhelmed or opposed.
