Introduction:
A. Christ apparently claimed to be God at times,
but He did not explicitly assert that His form
was Godly. This is because He was supposed to
be the image of God.
B. Evidently, even if Christ was not so outspoken,
claiming that He was in some way. God, the religious
leaders of the day would have still held Jesus
up for blasphemy because of actions, such as forgiving
sins.
C. Clearly, the religious leaders missed out
or simply did not want to accept the possibility
of Christ being an image of God. It was due to
God’s ability to die for mankind in the
form of man (Jesus) that man can be saved from
sin. The ability of God to live and die in another
form is what made this possible, as God may have
no definite form.
D. Christianity today is affected by its doctrine
because of the realization that sacrificed Himself
or His Son for the sake of man’s sins. Hence,
man is supposed to be grateful for this sacrifice
and lead a righteous life that Jesus preached.
E. In the light of Christian Doctrine, it must
be said that Christians need to lead lives that
are humble and peaceful, as Christ preached. In
addition to this, Christians must also learn how
important the element of sacrifice is.
